✺ Frequently Asked Questions - by Artists ✺

  • One small service The Omerta Arts Syndicate provides for this event is carefully curated placement of artist with a host.
ALSO arrangements may be made by either party and reported to us BEFORE the registration deadline.

Both parties may use this checklist to cover all the elements of the basic agreement.

**Businesses receive discounts on registry for hosting a Social Club Member during Art Walk.

  • No. Businesses participate as community volunteers, and even pay up to $50 per event to host you.

Be sure to leave them a thank you note, or even a small token gift!

  • This is a topic to discuss with your host. Some businesses prefer to skip this offering for several reasons.

See the checklist to make sure you cover all the topics when you discuss with them.

  • Spread the word to other visitors, artists, and businesses.
And definitely send us a few words of encouragement — we’re doing this for you!
(We also would love to hear your ideas for improving the future Art Walks).

  • Misunderstandings during agreements happen when expectations are not established ahead of time.

Sometimes they happen regardless. We ask that you have an open conversation with our host or customer before deciding that Omertà Arts should get involved.

  • We’ve got a growing team to assist in the seasonal events, but could really use a few more people’s

  • You can expect roughly 3,000 visitors to wander around downtown for Art Walk events during favorable weather.
Some of them will connect with your work.

You may want to have a QR code displayed nearby your work linked to your social media or website so they can follow along your creative journey before the next Art Walk.
Another strategy artists find useful is to have some very easy and affordable way for visitors to make a small purchase of your work.
(We suggest small prints/cards, or a 2nd QR code for Venmo or Paypal?).

You may benefit from joining our

    Social Club.

  • We are thrilled to help the public get to know you and your work — Art Walk is often the best way to encounter new collectors you’d likely not meet otherwise because you get a chance to chat and get to know them too.

Photographs + a few sentences about you are the second best way.

Send us a sharp photograph or two in adequate lighting, without distracting elements at least 1500 x 1500 pixels. Bonus points for one that includes yourself looking friendly alongside your work.

Omertà Arts has a photo both setup, or even gallery rental just for your artwork. Rent time with these and/or hire us to do it for you. Request Details

  • Yes and no.
We both want to plan ahead.

We also want to know that you are a great artist to work with before all three parties involved say ‘I Do’.

    Details coming soon.

Join the Social Club to take advantage of all the creative classes, professional development courses, and packages we have to offer.

  • Leah & Chris and the Omertà Arts artists are here to stimulate your growth as an artist.
The Social Club will host a series of seminars for artists who wish to monetize, promote, archive, and write about their work.
In addition, we offer advanced photograph packages, classroom & gallery rentals, 24/7 access packages, gallery opportunities/exhibitions, publications, and more at a discount to Social Club Members.
All the details will be published soon!
Find out how to get involved in the O.G. crew.

  • Honestly, we’d rather you invest in materials and courses to upgrade your creativity.

You can help keep it free for artists: send any sponsors our way to help cover the cost of the trolley, printing and advertising.
